Theodore Sedgwick

Ambassador Theodore Sedgwick served as United States Ambassador to the Slovak Republic from 2010 to 2015. Prior to his diplomatic service, he was President and CEO of Sedgwick Publishing Company and President and CEO of Red Hills Lumber Company. He also founded IO Energy, an online energy information company, and Pasha Publications, a specialty publisher focused on energy, defense, and environmental markets, and served as chief executive from 1978 to 1998. He is Chairman of the Board of Foreign Policy for America and serves on the boards of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems and the Council of American Ambassadors. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College.
